Strategies for Successful Partnerships and Outreach to Families with Young Children
Strategies for Successful Partnerships and Outreach to Families with Young Children (Ready to Read)
Libraries have long been committed to building healthy, thriving communities, but they are now seeing an increased need to create and build strategic partnerships and expand relationships within the larger community. Explore the value of community connections, examine the accessibility of your library services, and identify barriers to outreach - and how to remove them!
This Ready to Read at New York Libraries class is targeted to library staff and volunteers who coordinate and provide programming for families of young children at the library.
Angela Newman is the Youth Services and Outreach Consultant at the North
Country Library System. When she isn't providing resources, guidance, and
the occasional high-five to member libraries, she spends her time filling
OverDrive carts with upcoming fiction, adding books to her seemingly
endless TBR pile, and baking.
