Finger Lakes Digital Inclusion Coalition Coordinator

The Finger Lakes Digital Inclusion Coalition is made up of community leaders gathering together to create a unified voice in support of digital inclusion efforts in the region.

Do you care about ensuring that everyone in our community has equal access to digital resources, including broadband and the internet? Do you excel at community building and advocacy, as well as capacity building? Are you a self-starter with strong organizational and communications skills? 
Consider applying to be the Finger Lakes Digital Inclusion Coalition Coordinator. We're looking for someone with initiative and drive to serve in the lead role for capacity building, direction, and leadership of the Coalition. The Coordinator will have both the vision and skills to develop the core structure of the Coalition to ensure it’s stability and sustainability. The person in the position is responsible for steering the direction and strategic plan of the organization. They will also lead advocacy efforts and conversations with local partners and policymakers around digital inclusion.

This position will run from October 2019-August 2021. The position will be 16 hours per week and will be paid $25/hour.

Part-Time Outreach Assistant 

We're looking for a detail-oriented and personable individual to be a part of our team. Under the direction of the Outreach and Training Coordinator, the Outreach Assistant will perform duties necessary to support the Coordinated Outreach Program, including library services to targeted outreach populations, correctional facilities, and county jails. In addition, they will provide administrative support as well as a welcoming presence at the office’s main entrance. 

Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree OR equivalent combination of training, education and experience
Schedule & Compensation
Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm (20 hours per week). Benefits include NYS Retirement, vacation time and paid holidays. Salary Range: $15.45-17.50/hour
